Tuscan Iron Entries builds iron doors with quality in mind. Every iron door is designed, fabricated and sold from the same location in Collierville, TN. The iron doors are built with American labor and materials, while many competitors' doors originate from China and Mexico. By designing and building our iron doors locally, we are able to keep true to the highest quality and standards that the American consumer expects. The highest quality control is achieved by having all operations under one roof.
Construction
Tuscan Iron Entries uses all steel in the manufacturing of our iron doors. Door stiles are 2"x5" rectangular tubing while door jambs are 2"x6" rectangular tubing. Design elements are plasma cut from 1/2" plate which allows for a very substantial and heavy look. The use of CNC equipment in the production of our iron doors assures the accuracy and repeatability of common door parts such as custom arches and custom design elements.
Styles
Our iron doors are available in over 20 designs. The styles range from simple and elegant to ornate and bold. Door styles are highly customizable. In addition to the designs, customers can pick the type of glass, hardware, door bases and colors. If one of the 20 designs and countless customizations do not fit your needs, Tuscan Iron Entries can custom design and fabricate one for you.
Hardware
Tuscan Iron Entries uses Emtek hardware. Emtek hardware is made in the USA and is of very high quality. However, our iron doors will accept most high-end hardware as holes are drilled at a standard 2 1/8" diameter at a 2 3/8" backset.
Glass
Glass panels on all iron doors is hinged. This allows for ease of cleaning and ventilation without opening the doors. Glass comes in a varitey styles from clear to obscure and everything in between. All glass used on our iron doors is tempered, double-paned and insulated.
Insulation
Doors are injected with a polyurethane foam. The foam expands to fill all of the air space inside of the doors.
Finish
Our iron doors undergo a six-step finishing process. Tuscan Iron Entries uses a Super Durable polyester powder-coating which is considered the one of the most weather-stable, u.v.- resistant coatings. Final antiquing of the product is applied by hand. Customers can choose between various finishes.
