Shipping Policy (When applicable)- At the choice of the customer, the doors will be shipped by LTL to either the local shipping terminal or directly to the customer's home. If the door is shipped to the local shipping terminal, it will be the responsibility of the customer to arrange pick up and transportation of the door from the terminal to the home. Home delivery is curb-side service only. The carriers will not transport the doors from the curb to the front door. Depending on door size, lift gate service may be available. If lift gate service is not available, it will be the responsibility of the customer to off load the door from the truck by physical or mechanical means.
Steel Fabrications
Tuscan Iron Entries warrants the steel fabricated door parts to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of TEN (10) years from the date of installation and will repair or replace any defective product or parts at Tuscan Iron Entries sole discretion. Items covered under this section include jamb, door slabs, design work, window frames, hinges and any other related items.
Finishes
Paint finishes will naturally age relative to exposure to the elements. Tuscan Iron Entries does not consider this to be a defect, but rather
a natural process which cannot be avoided. However, all finishes are warrantied for a period of FIVE (5) years against peeling, flaking or excessive wearing, fading and corrosion.
Glass
Tuscan Iron Entries warrants for a period of ONE (1) year (the “Limited Warranty Period”) that heat strengthened and tempered glass products (“Heat Strengthened Glass”) and (“Tempered Glass”) meet at the time of sale ASTM Standard Specification C1048 Standard Specification for Heat Treated Flat Glass - Kind HS, Kind FT Coated and Uncoated Glass. It is also warranted that for a period of FIVE (5) years from the date of manufacture (the “Limited Warranty Period”) the insulating glass units will be free from material obstruction of vision as a result of fogging or film formation on the internal glass surfaces caused by failure of the seal which is due to defects in material or workmanship.
Seals, Wear Items & Misc.
Tuscan Iron Entries warrants all seals, thresholds and sweeps to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of ONE (1)
year.
Emtek Hardware
Emtek hardware supplied by Tuscan Iron Entries is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of TWO (2) years. There is no warranty
on Rust, Dark Bronze, Medium Bronze, Flat Black Patina and Silver Patina finishes.

Ashley Norton Inc. extends a 10 year mechanism warranty to the original residential purchaser, providing the product has been installed in strict accordance with our installation instructions. The only obligation of Ashley Norton Inc. will be to repair or replace the defective product or parts upon presentation, together with proof of purchase dated within the warranty period. We assume no liability for any labor charges regarding the removal or reinstallation of the products; nor will we cover any freight, postage, or handling expense. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, tampering, extreme climatic conditions, improper installation or products used in commercial applications.
Our bronze patinas are ‘living finishes’ and may lighten, highlight, oxidize or rub off in places due to frequency of use; therefore, such
events do not constitute a defect. Thus Ashley Norton Inc., cannot guarantee our Bronze and Matt Black finishes and therefore, Ashley
Norton Inc. will not have any obligation to repair or replace such finishes under this warranty.
In no event shall Ashley Norton be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the sale or use of our products. We assume no liability for any labor charges regarding the removal or reinstallation of the products; nor will we cover any freight, postage, or handling expense related to the product. The only obligation upon Ashley Norton Inc. will be to repair or replace the defective product or parts upon presentation, together with proof of purchase dated within the warranty period.Ashley Norton Hardware
Brass Hardware

Lacquered finishes will deteriorate when exposed to the atmosphere, particularly salt air, direct sunlight and pollution. Plated finishes will endure these conditions longer than lacquered finishes, however even these will not remain unaffected by the environment. Our oil rubbed finishes are living finishes and will age naturally. Ashley Norton cannot guarantee finishes where used externally.
When used internally, Ashley Norton Inc. extends warranties as indicated below to the original residential purchaser and limited to the location where the product was originally installed. The finish warranty does not cover scratches, abuse, mis-use, accident, external use, or where the product has been used in a commercial application.
Our Dark Oil Rubbed (8/DOR) patina is a ‘living finish’ and may lighten, highlight, oxidize or rub off in places due to frequency of use;
therefore, such events do not constitute a defect. Our Polished Nickel (4B/PNI) and Unlacquered Brass (3U) finishes are not lacquered and may tarnish due to environmental exposure. Thus Ashley Norton Inc., cannot guarantee our Dark Oil Rubbed (8/DOR), Venetian Bronze (6), Polished Nickel (4B/PNI) or Unlacquered Brass (3U) finishes and therefore, Ashley Norton Inc. will not have any obligation to repair or replace such finishes under this warranty.
In no event shall Ashley Norton be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the sale or use of our products. We assume no liability for any labor charges regarding the removal or reinstallation of the products; nor will we cover any freight, postage, or handling expense related to the product. The only obligation upon Ashley Norton Inc. will be to repair or replace the defective product or parts upon presentation, together with proof of purchase dated within the warranty period.Remedies - For warranties to be honored, the following must apply:
•the company has been notified within warranty period from delivery date and has been given the opportunity of inspection of any alleged defective products free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, accompanied by a statement of defects and proof of purchase
•the product has not been modified, abused, misused, or improperly installed (for products not installed by Tuscan Iron Entries),
maintained and/or repaired during such period
•damage or defects have not been caused by wind, fire, flood or other acts of GodTuscan Iron Entries shall, at its option, either repair or replace, free of charge, any products or part thereof found upon the Company’s inspection, to be so defective.
